Practicing medicine without a license is a very complex issue, and a quick Google search at the Statute of Limitations for the various states shows why lawyers get rich. It's certainly beyond my ken. The IL authorities can decide whether Dobry's activities are a civil matter or a felony, and whether or not time has run out for any possible prosecution.

Bear in mind that Dobry claimed to be doing autopsies as a 'free-lancer' and he could well be still 'free-lancing' - if he is then he's being paid, which means there are records, and his personal "IRS consultant" should have those.
