Justice, their way for the militants who blew up girls’ schools !!!

Sir: Presumably, the militants who blew up girls’ schools also believe in the eye-for-an-eye judicial system. The ones who ultimately are convicted of this crime should have dynamite sticks inserted into their posteriors which should then be set on fire.

Sink ‘em all

Sir: The recent demolition of an NGO-run girls school in Gilgit and the ban on Basant in Rawalpindi by hardliners speaks volumes of the government’s inability to tackle extremism. I wish to ask these oversized Mullahs if their actions aren’t contrary to the Sunnah’s teaching that both men and women have equal rights to acquire education? And what is so un-Islamic about flying a piece of paper attached to a string?

There have been two cases in Rawalpindi which have escaped the attention of the media. Some Mullahs barged into residences and beat people black and blue because they were flying kites on their rooftops. On the one hand, our commando general Pervez Musharraf pledges to curb extremism in front of his western audience and on the other he colludes with the mullahs to secure himself. Giving lectures to these oversized thugs about moderation won’t help. He claims to be a moderate ruler. He should act like one and sink all these hypocritical maulvis in the Arabian sea. The people of Pakistan want to remember General Pervez Musharraf for turning Pakistan into a progressive state rather than a repressive talibanised one.
