perhaps he decided to watch his party (lib/socialist dem)

in the hopes that it would return to it's "roots" after seeing that based on the candidates making inroads were "republican lite" it was time to promote a candidate that would reflect the liberal democrat values...

so what if he entered late?

could it possibly be that he was a kucinich fan, and when he saw his guy wasn't going to win it was time to bring his party back to it's roots? (albeit under another name)

we are talking of principle here, not party "label"

running on principle, no matter whether you agree or not, deserves respect, imho.
