No one said anything about marrying just to procreate. The issue does not fundamentally concern the motive for marriage (since motive is subjective) but the essential definition of marriage. Marriage denotes union. "Homosexual marriage" is truly oxymoronic. You may call whatever it is they do "marriage," but it is objectively worlds apart from real marriage-- which gains its ultimate meaning in every single one of us. The emotional power of real marriage comes from the biological fact that marriage is us. I look at my sons and I see a physical and objective union of my wife and myself. That is emotional power that no homosexual can ever know. And the kicker is that all humanity, all that we know and experience, is based upon it. Marriage IS heterosexuality. And homosexuality has no part of it at all. You may disagree, but you really don't have a leg to stand on, pal.
