>>But it has nothing whatsoever to do with ""First, he's a conservative. Second, he's a Christian. And third, he's a Texan."<<

That was my reaction as well when I read "second, he's a Christian". My thought was...as are the majority in USA...so what? Since day one of his Adm, I'm always slightly surprised when he speaks in a "born again" way but my reaction is a result of cultural differences. In the north we consider religion a private matter. GW's attitude is simply a minor annoyance certainly not reason to get angry at him.

>>We are angry because George Bush is the greatest threat to American democracy on the planet today. We are angry because George Bush is a war criminal approaching Hitler's stature as a purveyor of naked aggression in the pursuit of loot. We are angry because George Bush is neglecting our people while he lavished tax cuts on his millionaire bribers and billions on a wasteful and overgrown military monster. We are angry because America is being betrayed by the Republican Party.<<

Most of those thoughts are over the top IMO; however I do agree with the tax cuts for his base & pandering to multi-national corps. Clinton downsized & gutted the military to such a dangerous level that it was necessary after 9/11 to restore it in order to wage the War on Terror. Those people who like to blow up Americans & their architecture are not imaginary figures you know. They came after us--we had to take the battle to their hometurf before they had another chance to strike here.

I will agree also that this is the 1st time I can remember that the gov seems to be working solely for the welfare of corporations without any consideration for workers. That's why Americans are so angry with Bush. Howard Dean said this same situation occurred after the McKinley Adm.
