Ted, Andy Rooney just proved to be a first class heel with that obnoxious commentary. I saw Diane Sawyer's interview of Mel Gibson, and he did not seem like the "nut case" Rooney's "God" describes him to be. Instead, Rooney's faux conversation with "God" only shows him to be a bitter old fool who has nothing to contribute to the whole issue.

And yet you find nothing wrong with Robertson reporting that God told him that Bush would win by a landslide. Did you think that came from someone who was honorable and not obnoxious?

I see your point but I am amazed that you missed Rooney's completely.

I wonder if it's wise for a man so close to meeting God to take on an attitude like this.

That was the point of his commentary......he was talking tongue in cheek. God didn't talk to him and he doubts that God talked to either Robertson or Gibson.
