Excellent article and spot on.

It's not just Dean that scared me but Deaniacs like Raymond who verify why I was concerned. "Over the top" is putting it mildly.

I'm satisfied with Bush for the most part and have no problems with him being re-elected. But, at the same time, I'm a realist and there will, of course, be a democratic candidate and there is always that chance that he will be elected.

Given that, I am very concerned about who that candidate might be. While I have philosophical differences with the left, I have more than philosophical differences with Kerry. I have major concerns about character.

For that reason, I do hope that Edwards can get some traction and become the democratic candidate.
