Mish: Most of the Current Paradoxical Relationships which we are all witnessing across markets and asset classes can be pretty much traced back to the culprit of un-natural, market intervention. The EUR/USD has been high as you know simply because it has disproportionately borne the brunt of USD weakness, in a global market place that seeks the most liquid means to conduct its discounting of the future. Things are very messed up, Mish. My father's "beloved" US Bond Market for example can no longer be relied on like a dear friend, who will tell you the truth about the future--again because of mind-blowing intervention. You're doing good work here because you are examining all the myriad relationships and discovering where they are most bizarre and therefore likely unsustainable.
