So far the Bush team hasn't run a particularly competent campaign.

First they let the question of Bush being AWOL get a life of it's own. Then they come out with dumb-ass economic statements that they have to back away from like: it's good for America to outsource jobs and that the economy is going to add 3 M jobs in the next 10 months.

If Bush doesn't debate Kerry he's going to look like a coward - something the Republicans can ill afford given Kerry's Vietnam hero status.
