Slacker, After looking a little more into the SanDisk information on TriFlash, I think that TriFlash, being compatible with SD, is an embedded component. "SanDisk’s TriFlash brings the benefits of an SD card in a single BGA package. If your host processor or ASIC already has support for SD or MultiMediaCard then TriFlash makes an ideal embedded component solution.
