I'm sure most of what you cite is agreeable. What made your post so funny was you said you were "following him around", as if he was doing his best to get away. Then when you posted the link to Ivy Compton-Burnett my heart really went out to the guy. If she sounds anything like she looks it must have been hell. brightlightsfilm.com At the time I was unfamiliar with her writing, but have since browsed a few of her novels. She really is quite interesting!
