I have to admit that my idea of a car is something that gets me from one place to another economically, safely, and comfortably.

I am sure that my character would be greatly improved by driving a BMW, however, but I have never been able to decide between buying a BMW and converting to Judaism.

Best I can tell, the main benefit of driving a BMW is the edification one receives from the noise the doors make when they close. People who talk about that noise are known to be superior people.
