$64 question. Well he is running for reelection is SD which i guess may be a more conservative state than this senator has been. Or perhaps we demonized him a bit too much over the years with the source of personal anti-bush hostility coming from other sources in the dem party. Who knows? Perhaps the anti-american kerry actions like emailing the ayotollahs or the total lack of respect he shows the office is not universally accepted as good by the dems. There are others--lieberman, biden, bayh, breaux, zell miller(former), fill in the rest. mike
