The guy can't win. He is obstinate enough to run to the end and manage to achieve the direct opposite of what he stands for. One would ask why he does not form a cooperative relationship with the party most closely aligned with his views...not by running on a hopeless ticket and helping the candidate farthest from his goals. You could say that he is a stupid man and be perfectly justified. Al, he is a stupid man because his ego is so huge. To hear his announcement this AM, he was working very hard to convince us and himself that he had no choice but to announce his candidacy. Its too bad, because in the end, he either will be reviled or made to look the fool. ted
