I'm pleased to see the woman bringing a lawsuit against those responsible for her sars infection in Canada.

Authorities need to be held accountable for their incompetence, carelessness and negligence. Others are held liable for negligence causing death [say I carelessly, incompetently and negligently run over somebody with my car]. So should doctors and governments be held liable.

She clearly made attempts to protect herself and they over-rode her, gave false assurances of safety and were generally careless, negligent and were worried more about public concern than public infection and lives.

Meanwhile, it's nearing the end of February and no more sars. It really is starting to look like a no-show this year. So far, chicken flu isn't getting a grip either.

Maybe people can beat bugs now! Massive response to infections cuts off so many vectors of transmission that the bugs just can't make the headway that they could in the good old days [early 20th century].
