Eva, A few years back US energy companies were buying Canadian energy companies at a breakneck pace. My largest holding Gulf Canada went to Connoco. They are selling a bit off now due to Loonie strength... but JW is right they are doing both. They obviously just don't feel the need to invade us... not yet at any rate ;o) Also don't forget the geopolitical angle of securing mideast oil now that China is ravenous for Texas Tea..
