>>Both John Kerry and John Edwards own mansions in the exclusive Georgetown area of Washington D.C. On one street lives Edwards, whose 13-room home is worth $3.8 million. About a block away is where Kerry lives..in a four story home with 23 rooms that is estimated to be worth $4.3 million. Oh...well, Kerry is roughing it a bit. His home is owned by his wife, Teresa Heinz.<<

I read that Edwards sold his little shack in Georgetown.
He no longer needed it with decision not to run for re-election to Senate. Probably using the $3.8M for his presidential campaign.

Kerry is indeed roughing it since his Boston mansion is worth over $12M. He mortgaged his half to help fund his campaign. I'm curious to see how Teresa Heinz/Kerry will manage to "legally" use some of her resources in her attempt to become the USA's 1st foreign-born First Lady.
