New Zealand's 'Latin America Strategy'. Phil Goff is going to Brazil, Uruaguay and Argentina

Now I know why those Kiwis are in Curitiba working in the Atlantic Forest. Their kids studied with my daughter in the International School there. They may be part of the program.

<<New Zealand's Latin America Strategy, launched in August last year by Prime Minister Helen Clark, has as its primary objective closer political, economic and people to people cooperation and integration between New Zealand and Latin America. This is consistent with the Framework's aim of encouraging "global cohesiveness" and "interconnections between the regions". The strategy will build linkages which are indeed "mutually beneficial and contribute to both regional and internacional peace and stability".

Goff will propose the Holidays and Work Plan which let ypungsters from Brazil work in New Zealand and vice-versa, as it is already done with Uruguayans and Argentineans.

I think this will help educated the new generations of kiwis who will not grow up thinking we have only thugs there.
