Accent's latest 10K -- all the latest news on the company: edgar-online.com Despite having earnings drop a bit from the previous quarter, due in large part to higher product development costs (they hired more software developers) and are beefing up the US sales operation and apparently used up their working capital in the quarter and will need to obtain further capital later this year, some group just invested $2M in the company and the share price almost doubled last week. Obviously, this investment group is either incredibly stupid or got a real good look at the company and decided Accent offered the possibility of an outstanding return (because the risk is definitely high). There are ten thousand reasons why someone sells and only one reason why someone buys -- to make money. I listened to the conference call and will post a message on it soon. One statement though worth mentioning now, it was stated that the Global Development Kit is under review with Fortune 100 companies who will not let Accent announce this. Hopefully, the reviews will translate into sales and consequently product announcements. Good luck with your investments.
