Did you know that Kerry voted against funding bullet-proof vests for military?? That's the type of peace-nik voting record he has--the majority of American voters disagree with him in many ways. If Dems make Kerry the nominee instead of Edwards, they don't have a chance against Bush.
The Repubs have 19yrs of extremely liberal, sometimes downright foolish votes by Kerry in congress. They don't have much fodder to use against Edwards. In every election, down to lowest county level, a voting record determines the outcome. When a candidate has black& white hard evidence to show voters....the one with most extreme record will lose everytime. That's why Dems would be wise to make Edwards their nominee. He appeals to a far-wider spectrum of voters than Kerry.
