Thanks for the welcome. I have been accumulating LEAP puts in EP for the last week for my retirement accounts. Bought some CPN LEAP puts this morning but not as sure about CPN dropping substantially as I am about EP. At first blush CPN appears to be in better shape. They just have the misfortune of debt maturities this year. Big question is how long can EP keep trying to hide their real problems, which are the debt and interest payments? To get past this year I believe they have to do one of two things. They need a debt/equity offering and/or another round of asset sales. This will only postpone the day of reckoning. Real Estate deal has been working out well. Found an underpriced lot in a township where a lot of corporate headquarters are locating to. Lot's of cash flowing into the nearby civil infrastructure. Am designing an addition for the house as we speak. It will double the size of the house.
