my opinion on the issue is that it is none of my business if two men, two women or one man and one woman want to get married. It is also none of my business if a polyamorous group wants to get married. It is also none of the government's business either. Other than to facilitate the legal issues that arise when one or more persons enter a partnership. And that is what marriage is to the government...a legal partnership. It has nothing to do with morals. That's where the church comes in. If a particular church wants to condemn or condone gay marriage, that is their business.

I do find it interesting that the very people who vehemently oppose gay marriage are also the ones who criticize the group for promiscuity. Here is a great way to facilitate long term relationships and yet the vast majority of people are against it.

Do people really think that this will help to change a gay or lesbian person's sexual orientation?
