I find it interesting how few of the contributors to this site put in a profile. It is as though they don't want anyone to KNOW THEM other than their postings. I often look to try to identify the age of the person posting. I have a hard time with JAllen.... Cannot guess which generation he is from. Us oldsters seem not to mind being identified.. Thank you for sharing with me. I am off volunteering today with a group of under-privileged at community center helping with a one to one reading program... So don't have much time right now to respond to your post. I do remember WW. II very very much. Our school made us keep scrap books of all the battles. I was 7 years old on December 7th and Pearl Harbor. Big concern, will we be bombed. My father was a spotter Civil Defense for watching for enemy planes. Lots of relatives fought in the war. Even had an uncle who fought in WW I.... and witnessed the gassings. More later. Nice to meet you more formally shall we say. Suma
