Peter Lynch says: Invest in the things that you understand. It is amazing that the cloning of the Telomerase could generate that much enthusiasm. Of course it is exciting for those of us doing basic research for a living but an imminent cure for cancer and aging ? Give me a break. I just have to short this one (even just a hundred shares). This, as you put it, is just ridiculous.
