Look what happened when Russia defaulted and Long Term Capital Management nearly took down the whole system with their derivative Ponzi scheme. They will pull out the stops to control it, but I don't know what the outcome will be. My un-invested funds are in mm funds denominated in Dollars & Euros. Btw, based on monetary inflation over the years, gold should be priced in the $1400-$1800 range right now... That is the dis-connect.
