Al, as far as I know, Bush has also been fully cooperating with the 9/11 commission. As for the GAO, the call for Cheney's records was referred to as "unprecedented in the GAO's 81-year history." In other words, it's arguably an overstepping of the GAO's bounds. Please explain to me why then Gov Kean ( a republican chairman appointed by bush himself ) had to threaten a lawsuit to get the WH to cooperate, and still is being stonewalled. C'mon man...some honesty please. They invite suspicion, and it is a republican led inquiry who is questioning their motives...do you suppose the dems should come to bush's defense? LOL... The Dems are the ones taking this story and jumping to conclusions, such as "Cheney must be trying to hide something!" As usual, they're not letting the burden of proof hinder their political agendas. If this administration allowed independent investigations then you could claim the high ground.
