>I just want to say to all of you starting out on Raptiva, that I am now on the drug for approximately 2 1/2 years. I started in a research study in June of 2001. I was covered at more than 70% with plaque psoriasis at the time. THe study began as a 12 week study, and if there was sufficient response to the drug, you could continue on to the next phase. Well, I did not have that great of a response in the first 12 weeks, some clearing of a few spots, a bit less redness, but the clinical nurse responsible for the study went out of her way to make it so that I could continue on. Within another 2 months I really began to clear. For the past 2 years I have been 90-95% clear, and continue on the drug still to this day.

DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE IF YOU SEE NO RESULTS ON RAPTIVA FOR A WHILE.

This is not to say you will ultimately respond as I did, but give it some time. We all respond differently to drugs.

Good luck to all of you!!
