I am not sure why you place such emphasis on the cross. I think the significant part was his dying...not where or how he died.

Gruesomeness is part of the package. The more gruesome, the more guilt, the more captive, the more fear, etc...hence the feeling that a person nearer to the day of his/her death should feel more inhibited (hence Rooney) than a younger one, since the day of judgement is near...but then again, sin all you want, go to confession, it's all better, repeat all over again. It's idiotic and clever at the same time.


Al, its definitely a good deal. You can sin all you want but so long as you proclaim before you die that Christ is the son of God and your savior, that you get to go to heaven. Its works for me! <g>
