re: On the substantive issue I think that florescent lights can often pay for themselves well before they burn out, at least if you don't turn the lights on and off all the time.

Anytime you want to talk about lighting quality and cost and visual acuity, I willing to give you an education. I worked in the industry. You can PM me if you really care.
