Bush has pandered worst than Dems for Spanish vote with his outrageous proposal. How many votes could he possibly gain?....he lost mine & probably many other moderates with that ridiculous plan. It was definitely the straw that broke.... You're correct that both parties refuse to tighten borders & enforce laws. It's our job to convince them otherwise. That's the power of the vote--if only the other half of U.S. population was taught that in school.
More funds spent on each student in this country & they're not even taught a crucial basic like the responsiblity & importance of voting. As you can see I do support "No Child Left Behind". Any improvement in public school education is worth it. How much more can a few tests cost?
The criticisms are silly. Teachers just hate change. Workers in private business, as you know, don't have that luxury. Tell your boss you don't believe in annual performance appraisals:) It's time to privatize education.
