Agree about the similarity of Palo Alto and Marin. Since you mention Palo Alto, let me ask what you think Mr. Packard (I believe it was he who got voted out by Fiorina and her henchmen) is thinking of outsourcing. after all it was the two staunch Republicans, Mr. Hewlett and Mr. Packard who started HP in their garage and did so to provide oppotunities for reasearch and jobs for Americans. The pioneers of the Silicon Valley culture. And sadly now, those opportunities (I didn't just jobs) but job opportunities are being deliberately taken away from the Americans in the name of globalization. It is not the goods, the labor and sweat of the Americans but their opportunities. These capitalists are not only yellow livered rascals but they are the terroists who are taking the very lifeblood of the Americans. And our man, Mr. Bush stands by and watches and feed us with how many Iraqis have jobs, how many Iraqi schoolchildren have schools etc.
