I think about David Packard from time to time. Carly Fiorina really destroyed all that HP was ever about, HP was the first high tech company to really try to treat people differently in the 70s (the HP way). Of course over the years it became just like any other company but thats what happens when you get really huge.... still.... Carly's inflammatory rhetoric towards her own workforce and the fact that HP fell off the "best companies" list for the first time in decades says something. Personally I think HP is toast, their morale is horrible and they are trying to rework themselves into a consumer electronics play? There is only room for so many companies that do that... Apple is the one. HP should have stayed in printers, who cares what happens to them.
