Just consider the manner in which the leading sectors of this new bull have rallied right out of the block such as the small and mid caps, the amex and the deep cyclicals, the broker dealers and the banks and the retailers.....a quick look at a large monthly picture says it all of the breathless advance of these leading sectors of this market...let me link you to a few but you need to be a subscriber to stockcharts.com to see these monthly charts which I hope you already have:

So given HOW those leaders have rallied to ATH, I think it's not all that impossible to think of the NYSE and the Dow following similar trails imho and yielding precious little to the expected and normal corrections on the way up.
