if segregated schools yielded the same basic education as unsegregated schools, what was the beef of the Black community?


The empirical evidence was that the concept of "separate but equal" was anything but. Segregated black schools did not provide the same benefits of education that white schools did.

It is far easier to grant equal rights by way of domestic partnership.
