Would someone explain to me how Gaza and the West Bank are supposed to become contiguous? He's referring to the plan to break up the West Bank into many separate entities. I guess he doesn't consider Hamas to be Palestinian, then. Because there is no hint anywhere that they have any interest at all in peace with Israel. Wrong. For example, Hamas recently stated that it would accept UN 242, which even liberal party in Israel (Labor) does not accept. Peres's remarks are a good indication of why he's no longer Prime Minister. Your remarks are a good indication why you're not taken seriously. Tom
