It will be interesting to see what Edwards does if Kerry pulls it out, as seems probable.

Being the VP of a losing ticket is not a guarantee of being the frontrunner in the next election, as Lieberman learned.

So I don't think he will accept that spot unless he thinks there is a real good chance of victory. If he thinks Kerry will lose, he will bide his time and begin his 2008 campaign in a much better position.
