Kerry's platform will be trade protection, sanctions

I do not say this as harsh criticism of Kerry
he seems to understand that outright tariffs are lunatic
he states guidelines to encourage domestic job growth and protection, and to inhibit offshore activities to evade taxes

but we are talking about an array of protectionist policies
regardless of whether tariffs are an integral part

if Kerry succeeds, we will see far quicker rise in prices systemically
and maybe more jobs
his plan seems to be the second half of Greenspasm's reflation initiative

only with trade protection from China can we institute pricing power again
but that will mean passing all manner of higher costs to customers
WHAT AN INCREDIBLE CATCH-22 !!!
been saying it for two years now

if Kerry succeeds, we will have higher price inflation, higher bond yields, higher mortgage rates, lower housing prices, less REFI activity

not sure that adds up to economic growth either
