It was never a moderated thread. At one time, it was the only AMD thread. However, there was considerable feuding on the thread because of the business competition between INTC and AMD. The AMD posters felt the INTC posters treated them poorly. To mitigate that problem, they created the moderated AMD thread. OK, I have to make everyone hate me, but I have to get this off my chest while we're on the topic of INTC/AMD and moderation... I submitted the complaint that got Paul Engel knocked off of SI for good... I didn't mean to get him banned for good, but he'd sort of outdone himself a number of times in rapid sequence and I had to say something. He disappeared the next day. Oh the shame of it all......you carried that guilt for two years?! Now you have to give us a blow by blow! Dave, I think he's done his penance (it's been what, two years?)-- could you please reinstate Paul? Nah, he was evil. Speaking of guilt and evil, are you going to see the Passion of Christ? Some friends and I going to see it this weekend.........against my better judgment. Everyone's worried that its too anti Semitic when I think the real issue is that its to violent. ted
