Best Buy to Offer Valence's New N-Charge Power System in Retail Stores Nationwide

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 26, 2004--Valence Technology Inc. (Nasdaq:VLNC - News), a leader in the development and commercialization of Saphion® technology, the only safe large format Lithium-ion rechargeable battery technology, today announced that Best Buy Co. Inc., (NYSE:BBY - News) the nation's leading specialty retailer of consumer electronics, has ordered second generation N-Charge(tm) Power Systems. The new N-Charge systems will be available in over 600 Best Buy retail stores nationwide in March.
