As in Vietnam when we sent troops to fight a battle with a cloud over their mission, your assumption that brave Americans in uniform support YOUR views on the US invasion of Iraq are specious at best. Nobody wants to go to war with a cloud over their mission -- you falsely accuse the war's critics for putting that cloud over the mission. The responsibility for the cloud over the mission lies squarely with those in the White House who systematically misled the country into supporting a misguided invasion to rout out non-existent WMD and then dragged us into a tragically inept and bloody occupation of Iraq in a vain effort to reshape the political landscape of the middle east into a model of US-friendly democracies -- a bloody farce at best with no end in sight.
