That's quite a bit different from the rosy picture painted of health care for the poor in some other posts.... Something has got to give- and society should probably give more, so that no citizen need suffer without treatment. We're not talking elective surgery, we're talking dialysis, trauma, and cancer treatment... You can have society give more, or you can have the poor crawl off and die, I'm not sure what the third alternative is.
