TIM: Your explanation of what happens on the factory floor could very well be the type of problem TOPRO uncovered at Sun Oil, where Sun Oil did opt for ordering a new system rather than fixing the old. Thanks for sharing your concrete example of what's really going on. TPRO has maintained that their advantage over others is that they have an extensive database of what is installed on the factory floors gained from years of experience. Anyone trying a Y2K fix without an extensive database is going to run into exactly the problems that Tim so well describes.
