Oh, one thing I don't see other people mentioning - during the trial conducted by the Sanhedrin - there are a substantial number of Jews complaining that the trial is not being conducted properly - it's conducted at night, in secret. They say it's a travesty, but the guards throw them out.

Anyway, that's not in the Gospels, either, but it's true. The Sanhedrin did not follow due process.

Who but a lawyer would notice the lack of due process?;^)
