Dow Jones Business News Alanco Sees Pacts In Ohio, Mo., Fla., Colo., Ill. Thursday February 26, 3:52 pm ET SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Dow Jones)--Alanco Technologies Inc. (NasdaqSC:ALAN - News) expects to sign prison contracts worth about $15 million, which is more than double its fiscal 2003 sales. In a press release Thursday, Alanco said it expects new contracts from Ohio, Missouri, Florida, Colorado and Illinois. The developer of prisoner tracking systems won't record all the revenue from these contracts during fiscal 2004 since it must book revenue after products are supplied. Alanco officials said their company doesn't have specific earnings and sales guidance. The company lost $2.6 million, or 14 cents a share, on total sales of $7.4 million for fiscal 2003.
