I have several accounts and I have to say that the Datek service is still the one I like the best. I'd like to improve it but every broker has their plusses and minuses.

One thing I don't understand is why they haven't been able to merge the best of Ameritrade with Datek. I have an account with each. Now I have the converted Datek account, which is basically as it was except for the logon page.

The old Datek account does not allow "all or none," leading sometimes to fills that are tiny when compared to the commission. They also don't allow pink sheet trading. The old Ameritrade account does allow pinks and "all or none" but is otherwise very much inferior to the old Datek.

I don't understand why they don't make all accounts use the old Datek platform, as it is clearly superior, with the addition of "all or none" and pink sheet trading. This transition has been a long time coming, over a year I believe. Yet, they don't seem to have transitioned much.

Again - if you are reading - this is from a fan of Datek and not a basher. You should have a mechanism of feedback from users and I am a heavy user. If you did, you could probably double your business.
