SG, HWP has no product that is showing good profit growth right now. Printers are still in a glut and we all know the pc story. I think they have another lousy quarter. Dell will almost certainly beat estimates this quarter as it manipulates analysts with the best of them. I don't like it longer term, as the weakness of the direct model will become apparent as they approach larger and larger cos. for their future growth. But Mike Dell is a master at getting the great unwashed into a lather and I don't see him failing this quarter. As far as the market goes, this time is different. Not only are we seeing the stocks heading south, but we are seeing lousy eps from the big names. And interest rates are not supporting the bull case right now. It will probably rally next week, but I look for more to pop this balloon over the following months. MB
