Ike About my only memory of the two Ike campaigns was my school being let out to see Douglas MacArthur early in the '52. think Ike was generally considered a light weight who was just sort of there. That was kinda my opinion at the time, but I was of an age that I was far more interested in girls and Rock 'n' Roll. More recently, my reappraisal has his Admin more of a laid back Army staff model. Still don't think his Admin (Dulles, Sherman Adams et al) was up to Truman's standards. JMO lurqer
