So now we know what the gay marriage amendment flap, the "new Al Qaeda tapes," and the Social Security scare were all about: They were a smokescreen designed to distract Americans from a new stealth attempt to ram through the Energy Bill. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist arrogantly boasted how sure he was the Senate will pass bill. One reason he's sure is that he's fixed it so that any due process for the bill will be bypassed. This bill, which is a travesty that fails America miserably, is CRITICAL TO EVERY AMERICAN'S FUTURE. Act now! Call your senator to protest, and tell EVERYONE YOU KNOW to do the same. MoveOn has warned that Frist and his thugs may try to push the bill through at any time, no notice given. (see Moveon's statement at baltimore.indymedia.org
