As I noted a long time ago, the Domestic Diva did not commit any securities fraud, insider trading, self-dealing, etc. She committed a crime of stupidity: she tried to spin a tale that would make her actions look reasonable (standing stop loss order) rather than greedy (everybody's selling, get me out!). To do this she had to shade the truth, a.k.a. lie about it.

She didn't have to say a word; by opening her mouth she cost herself about 1/2 billion dollars in stock value, as I recall. It remains to be seen whether or not they will be able to get her on obstruction of justice.

This has been a joke from the beginning; the clowns prosecuting this case should be fired for wasting all this time and money. This should have been settled months ago for a nolo plea and a $400K fine.
