"1. If the "sin" is something inborn, inherent, a biological pre-disposition that cannot be changed by any act of will"

Who said that? I didn't. We all have free will and are innocent when born, but every one of us chooses sin eventually by our own free will .

"I think of conservative Christians as Old Testament Christians"

True Christians believe the entire Bible...otherwise they would not be Christians in the first place. If you see an unforgiving Christian, they are not following the teachings of Jesus. Of course many self-proclaimed "Christians" have done terrible things in the name of Christ, but those are their acts and not based on His teachings.

3. <"You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination." Leviticus 18:22.
"If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death...." Leviticus 20:13>

"These passages are translated very differently, in various versions of the Bible. All translation is interpretation. The cultural biases of the translator inevitably creep into the translation."

Ah yes...no doubt learned scholars from the School of Politically-Correct Relativism. Please provide your reference and translators' credentials.
